    Hello rooster

Have you got house contents insurance? If yes, you might be able to make a claim for accidental damage.

How will you prevent pooch eating his way through house and home (literally) in the future?

Generally house contents insurance won't cover damage done by a domestic pet, you will have to check the small print. You may have problems trying to explain how the damage occurred if you want to claim as accidental damage and they want to inspect it.

    Good luck tho
