Lewisham has a Matalan? I only discovered Matalan when I moved here:(
Im off to bed with my book "Goodbye Bafana", finished "Angela's ashes" but didnt really enjoy it-so wont bother with the sequel.
I have finally done something with the freezer inventory I did last week. Have planned 15 suppers and 5 lunches from the contents, did a shopping list on my supermarket and the addition of sides, DH's chocolate digestives, DS' chocolate buttons and my fruit and gaviscon totals £36:jIve never done that before. Will have it delivered so hopefully I'll find a code. Havent shopped T*sco in ages, but Im getting really fed up with the lack of codes on A*da and the substitutions despite me marking "no subs" every time.
Cant wait to get cracking on the fridge so it'll be nice and shiny when I place my order on Tuesday (pay day)
 night night everyone0

That's why I originally decided to grit my teeth and order from Waitrose/Ocado. However, I have checked my last 7 orders and like for like, they have been the cheapest of ALL the online supermarkets for my orders.
Shocking, I know - Waitrose is cheaper!!!!!!!!
(and no, champagne isn't usually in my order, although at £6.99 for a 37.5 cl bottle, that's quite reasonable - relatively - too)
Have found the delivery service reliable and polite, too - with no substitutions and no quibble refunds on items and their essentials range is far better quality than the other brands.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll 0 0

And if you have to go in ... it's quieter, less crowded and the customers are generally polite... I started going there because the others were too stressful after a day at work and was thrilled to discover I was spending less... (oh... and the parking is easier, the trolleys are free... I could go on but I need to do some work and inspiration finally seems to have decided to show up...)Jojo_the_Tightfisted wrote: »Shocking, I know - Waitrose is cheaper!!!!!!!!
