Morning all Glad it's the sitting room today, hopefully it shouldn't take too long. As for the hall I try and close my eyes when I go through it:o
I am going to be not so gobby today, sorry I have been a bit hyper for the last couple of days but will be good now.

    Morning everyone,:hello:
Plan today is go see about the tiles and then paint, paint, paint.:rotfl:

    *Question*
On a new plastered room should i buy sealent before i paint or should i water down the paint?

    Right better get everyone ready.

Diva lovely to see you back.

We have had a few walls replastered (Still loads left to do as well!) and we always paint them with a solution of watered down PVA to seal them before painting.
If you just paint straight on it the paint gets soaked up and you need loads.

That didn't go too well. :(
I opened windows, put music on and plants outside for some fresh air/sunshine when DS1 came back - he'd got up late and was too late to do his paperround. He needed the other papers for his weekly round, so I just spent the rest of the HHC sorting them out. Best close the windows now, as the house is feeling really cold. DS2 is watching TV, so the music can go off as well - I hate having two things on at a time.

    Will try again, HHC 9.20-9.50.

    Finally caught up...

We had a good time yesterday - but had to queue for two and three-quarter hours to get in to the exhibition:eek: I think it was worth it, but DD and I agreed that we were fairly tired when we finally made it, and so didn't enjoy it quite so much.My word, there were some pushy, pretentious people in there! And why do some people need to be three inches from a painting, they surely don't need to sniff it to appreciate it!

DS 1 and 2 had lunch at Pizza Hut, then went to see Clash of the Titans 3D! They weren't in the mood for shopping. We met up again for the journey home, which involved a certain amount of charming ticket barrier staff as DS2 had managed to lose his travel card. Actually, as I had the receipt, everyone was extremely courteous and helpful.

I'm the only one up so far... the bathroom people are coming to finish the cloakroom, so I have to stay home for a while. I'll go do the washing up now and start on the kitchen....

ps Lovely to see you Diva!! Still sending get well vibes in your direction...
