Football League Charge

Hi,
have been playing in a football league (5aside) run by http://www.leisureleagues.net for the last few weeks. It costs £5 per week per player so £35 per team.
My team has decided to pull out of the league due to the fact some players have other commitments in the next few weeks.
Have just rung the league up and head office say we must pay our match fees for the next two weeks! What a rip off? They never mentioned this to us when we signed up and cant see it on their website!
What can we do?

It is in their terms and conditions, and seems quite reasonable to me.11i If a team fails to turn up for a scheduled fixture without giving Leisure Leagues 7 days notice, they lose the fixture 5-0 and will be charged the full match fee for the missed game. Teams who wish to withdraw from the league need to give two weeks notice of their intent to withdraw from the league, failure to do so will result in the team being charged their full two weeks match fees.Gone ... or have I?0

Rule 11 i) does say that if you want to pull out that you must give 2 weeks notice, failing that you must pay 2 weeks match fee's.
The sunday league team that I used to run we always had to pay the full seasons fee's before the season started so if you dropped out it was tough you lost your seasons money which was a few hundred quid, so I don't think it's to bad it's only going to cost £70 between you.If At First You Don't Succeed, Call It Version 1.0
