the only website that gives ownership info for property? it seems to be closed on sundays which i find weird considering it is the internet unless of course they do everything manually!!!

It is the official Land Registry site. There are other, commercial, sites that purchase their info from the LR and sell it on. They may be available 24/7 but may not be bang up to date.
Google 'land registry' for other sites. Will cost more than the £4 official cost.0 -
Funnily enough you cannot get the official documents from the official site. It can only give you a 'viewing copy'. If you need the official docuement you either have to apply by post or order one from a comercial site.0
