Contents Insurance with Sheilas' Wheels & Voluntary Excess

My contents insurance has come for renewal and my current provided Aviva has quoted me a rather steep price (£213).
I have searched the main comparison sites and Sheilas' Wheels seems to be the cheapest.
I have carefully checked the policy they are offering me and everything I need is included + more like the Home Emergency Cover (which means I could possibly cancel my cover with British Gas for boiler and central heating system) and legal cover.
I, however have a query with regards to the excess. I have been quoted for a voluntary excess of £100 for this policy, however when I read my schedule of cover, the excess is now £200 for AD/AL. Does anyone know what AD/AL mean?
I can give them a ring tomorrow when they are open but if anyone knew anything that would help.
I have not purchased the policy as yet.
