Hi i have bought my daughter a new mobile for her birthday but everytime she sends a text it is in mms form and i cant see how to change it to normal....its a sony ericsson w595...any suggestions appreciated thanks

From the Home screen select:
Menu>Messaging>Settings>Text Message>Text Message Type - select Text.
Menu>Messaging>Settings>Picture Message>Creation Mode - select Alert.
I assume when she starts to write a new msg that she selects Text Msg from the Write New menu and not Picture Msg.
I have the same phone so hope this works.
