PC world

Looked at buying a printer from PC world, saw one for £49.99 (a web exclusive price) however there was no delivery available and the ad said that they were only available to pick up in store.

Phoned them up and asked to them to see if there was one in stock at my local store (there were 2) and was quoted £79.99, apparently a store has to have 5 of the said items in stock to enable the "web exclusive price to be valid" I suspect there are not too many stores with 5 in stock.

Can they do this?

If it what the terms and conditions on their site say then yes... it is rare that PC World are the cheapest place for anything so why not just buy the item from a reliable company instead?
