Constant DVB "new channel found"

Since moving to Weymouth 6 wks ago, I've learnt that Freeview hasn't been here long and as such, nowhere near as many channels are accessible, I can live with that.
What does bug me though, is about twice a day, DVB find a new channel and I'm given the opportunity to install it. I know if I don't, it will keep popping up and if I do, it will wipe away anything booked to record.
To be honest I haven't noticed anything new, so it may be beyond channel 81, short of making a note of those I have then again next week, I won't know if the player is actually picking up a new channel or not, any idea's?

The usual reason for not getting all the Freeview channels is that the signal is poor. Probably one or more of the multiplexes is marginal in strength so whether or not you can get some channel or other is hit and miss and you get the message each time one has passed the borderline.
Check what the system says your signal strength and quality are like. The chances are that the proper solution is to improve your aerial.0
