Got my cheque today! Thats number 2 = £100!! :j
My advice is to write reviews about things you know about and make sure you include 150 words of OPINION not just things like ingredients or when a TV programme starts! Also make sure you rate other peoples reviews snd you will get paid!0 -
I gave up on DooYoo after being a member for a couple of months I finally earned anough points to get a voucher, I had hundreds of comments from people and all saying my reviews were usefull or very usefull (I think I got one not usefull and subsequently change the review) these reviews had been up for weeks but the moment I requested a voucher I got a mail from them saying that all but a couple of my reviews were being deleted as unsuitable
I found it very fishy that they waited until I tried to redeem my points. 0 -
Any tips for getting more reads/reviews? I've been reading reviewing a lot of other people's reviews, but mine only have around 15 tops. Or am I just being too impatient?
Is it right that you shouldn't put too many reviews up too quickly if you are new? I've done 9 reviews in about a week and I've tried to make them all quite long and interesting.
I'm quite pleased mine are getting reads from non-members as well, which to me looks as if people are reading them for the information, and it's not just members trying to swap points!
Thanks,Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j

Any advice given is as an individual, not as a representative of my firm.0 -
I've been a dooyoo member for a while. I tend to only do one review per login as I myself get irritated by people who just reel off reviews. My reviews are between 1,000-3,000 words long and I spend a lot of time giving facts and opinion.
I've always found the site excellent and have had no problems with getting the cheques through or anything. It's a reliable site.0 -
Heretolearn, one thing I was told when I started was to wait until one review had got 40-60 rates before posting the next one. That seems to be good advice as far as I can tell.
One thing to bear in mind. I usually go through the new reviews list, but I never click straight into a review, I always click into the member's profile first and if they don't rate other people, I don't look at their reviews.
If you see a review with lots of rates, save it to your favourites in internet explorer and rate everyone who's rated that review. That was, you know that the people you're rating have rated at least one review.
Also, always rate back someone who's rated your reviews.0 -
I do between 3-4 reviews on login, I usually log in once a fortnight and catch up (as it were) so it can be between 6-8 (elfen09 for anyone who cares)
I've already had one £20 Amazon voucher, and it's an e-voucher. This time I'm saving my points for cash...unless Xmas comes before then** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
**SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.

It's an excellent site, I have written some 10 reviews a day at times but they weren't written down sloppily and were not the minimum word count either. It really depends on how many reviews you want to write and how much time you want to spend rating other people's reviews as to how much you make.

You wanted other ways to keep busy? Have a look at https://www.Triond.com.
If you like writing (anything at all!) then this is right up your street. I was regularly using it. I am going to start writing for it again. Personal circumstances are the reason that I haven't been on in a few months.
The pay is not brilliant. You have to churn out a fair few articles to get money, but I know what it is like waiting for D-Day. Even if you don't make your millions on it, it may keep you busy.
Maybe you could keep an online diary on Triond about how you being pregnant in the last month or so?
Just an idea for you. Good luck with the birth!0
