how good/ reliable are appliances direct

We ordered a diswasher from them and they were great, very efficient lot's of communication about delivery etc. Unpackaged everything for us and encouraged us to check it over before we signed for it and took all the packaging away. Would use them again.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM!!! I used to work for them when they were Trade appliances, a few of my friends still work there (they were made redundant and taken back on!)
They used to send out items damaged from their store room, the communication is usually crap, the sales guys WILL lie and tell you its in stock, when it is not etc....
what brand of things are you looking at? alot of the problems i had was people ordering electrolux / AEG / Neff etc and being told they were in stock or due in - when they were not....to be fair this would usually be the manufacturers fault, BUT the sales men were happy to also fib.

I really would never recommend them to anyone, even I haven't bothered asking my friends that still work there for a discount, cos i know the hassle i am likely to get!
