Been out for a lovely sunday lunch today and mum paid, so that's always nice am totally stuffed now though!

We're going on Thursday to book the venue officially for the wedding so that's exciting!

We've been looking at figures for the wedding based on the number of guests we want to invite for day and then evening and it's :eek: we're going to have to do a LOT of saving before it!

Had another NSD today which is good - transferred another tenner into savings so it's slow progress, but progress non the less!

I'm getting observed on Wednesday so tomorrow has to include getting everything sorted for the Wednesday morning.

Things seem to be piling on a bit, so I just need to keep on top of things, otherwise I'm going to start getting more and more stressed....

Had a rubbish day today, so not really in the mood for anything this evening.

22nd NSD of the month though, guess that's good.

I've not got much to update! Can't believe it's October already :eek:

Off out for an indian in a bit, I'm really looking forward to it

Oh, and we booked the wedding venue last night and paid the deposit - it's real now! :j

Hya SF, how did the observing session go...always a bit scary!! Did you get feed-back immediately, or did you have to wait?

The rain sees to have eased off...at last!!!:j

Best get tea started....DH having to pick up DS2...his training over-ran, so he missed the bus...again...glad we only paid for the first term. This week has been typical...only used the college bus 4 times out of 10!! :eek: Shame the college doesn't have a bus leaving about 5:30 or 6 to collect all those doing sporting activities which finish after the buses leave at 4:15. It is a sports college after all, out in the sticks with the service buses dropping off about a mile away!! Must have to have a rethink...perhaps DS2 learning to drive is the answer, but oh the cost!!! :eek::eek: At least then we won't need to keep driving him to and fro most of the time.

Mmmmm need to think long and hard about this.

Glad you have the wedding booked, now you know how much you have to save!

Have a nice weekend...tomorrow should be dry...can't speak for Sunday!

:hello: Keiss nice to see you here! What sport does your DS do? Our school does a late bus which leaves at 5:15 for those students who stay behind for after-school clubs.

The weather has been awful! it's just not fun. And I'm walking to the Indian :eek: and I don't own an umbrella!

I got my mark back for the assessment - I passed and did well, just not well enough by my standards! My HoD is pleased and says I'm being too hard on myself as it was my first observation, but I need to do better.

I am shattered today though, both physically and mentally, I am counting down the days until half term!
