Well done on your saving SF. :T
You are giving up a lot...hope you manage it.
DS and I gave up all grains at the beginning of Feb (so no pasta, rice, noodles, or anything made with flour...ie bread, cakes etc!!!). We felt rotten the first week or so, but haven't looked back since...except DS's 18th...when we went to Pizza Express!! :rotfl: I was good...I had a warm chicken salad.
We did have pancakes yesterday...made with coconut flour....they are really rather good!!
On Monday we had homemade pizza, using cauliflower, cheese & egg for the base :eek: It work quite well, surprisingly!
Not sure how long this cave-man diet (Pr1mal BluePr1int) will last, but it's not was bad as I thought it was going to be.
Have a good day tomorrow.

Wow, Keiss, that sounds so much more harder than my challenge! Any particular reason for you giving up grain foods?

DS is a rugby player and Type 1 diabetic. It is the grains-carbs he eats that send his blood sugars high, so he is following this cave-man diet to see if he can reduce the amount of insulin he takes four times a day. So far it's workingslowlyfading wrote: »Wow, Keiss, that sounds so much more harder than my challenge! Any particular reason for you giving up grain foods?

I am doing it to keep him company...it also makes preparing meals easier (well, sort of) if I know we are all eating the same thing. DH still eats bread, and has some pasta/noodles once in a while though. We are getting all our carbs from fuit and veg. DS has also lost nearly a stone, but my weight seems to be stubbornly stuck at far too heavy!!!
S'pose I ought to get back to the gym then. Or walking the dog at the very least!!!

It has been a looooong day.
Had a rehearsal after school and then open evening so only just got back. Yawn. I'm watching Ina Garten on the Good Food Network whilst sipping hot water and lemon, I don't have much energy for anything this evening.
8th NSD of March today, that's always good

I won £48 on the lottery last night!
Not much, but it'll pay for our food this week lol
I was at an 80th birthday party yesterday, with lots of family members there so that was lovely
Just travelling back home later today, so nothing much planned. Another weekend almost over, and another one where I don't feel like I've stopped!

It was exciting!
Made my day!
Another day at work over - they do go fast sometimes. Had to put some petrol in the car, so no NSD for me today. I'm going to order a couple of things online too, seen as I'm already spending.
Nothing exciting to report!
