are they in their own separate pots? If yes, then just watering them until the weather is warm enough for them to go outside. They need a temperature of 10C minimum overnight so it's a good 2-3 weeks away.
Any idea what variety of sweet pepper or chilli you have? You can keep them indoors but you must pollinate by hand.0 -
If they're in seperate pots, you could start to harden them off by putting them outside during the day and bringing them indoors at night. As long as it's a fairly sheltered spot, i.e. not where they're going to get blown around.I get paid to smell great :j0

You may need to pot them in bigger pots but you should not put them outside until there is no risk of frost. Where are you going to plant them, straight into the gardenor in larger pots? if in larger pots then there is no problem with taking them outside just so long as you take them indoors if there is a frost.0

Too cold for peppers to go out for several weeks yet. Its not just frost, they don't like being cold.
Night temps need to be a constant 10/12c+
Here in the south mine out go mid may if the weather is warm enough, some years I have waited till June.
