Device manager.

Hello Techies.


Im hoping you all can advise me.

I opened the device manager on my desktop,and i have noticed that there are a lot of bluetooth serial ports there.

Bluetooth serial port (com 10)
(com 11)
(com 12)
(com 13)
(com 4)
(com 5)
(com 6)
(com 7)
(com 8)
(com 9)
Unknown device at the bottom.

Now please excuse me for appearing rather thick.....but what are they used for and are they needed.

    you can ignore them if you are not having problems.

    "com" is short for "serial communication port"
    Devices like bluetooth devices use the com ports to connect to devices.
