Any ideas to cover 1950s concrete canopy

I am the (not) proud owner of an original 1950s concrete canopy over my front door complete with supporting walls which have 3 large cutout circles. I don't mind the flat concrete roof so much but I can't stand the holey sides! Is there anyway I can replace the sides or cover them up? At the moment we have ivy growing over the porch to try and disguise it but I'd rather get rid of the ivy if I could. Any ideas really welcomed! Thanks

if the walls are the same concrete then just concrete/cement them up and paint the whole thing white.Get some gorm.0

Is it in period with your house? If it is I'd leave it."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0

Are you sure it's still safe?
I've removed a few, and replaced with a tiled canopy.
The steel reinforcement bars rust away, and crack open the concrete, so eventually large pieces can break away, or the whole lot drop down.0 -
Thanks for your replies. I did think about the concreting/painting it white - it's just a bit difficult to imagine it. Sorry, don't know how to post a photo! I'm a bit concerned about the safety bit now - because it's covered in ivy, it's hard to see if it is damaged - but husband regularly stands on it to cut the ivy! Could be a rich widow!0
