Minimum Payment Question

in Credit cards
Hi, I regularly use this site to get the best deals but have never registered for the Forums and something came to mind the other day when I received one of my Credit Card statements and I thought - MoneySavingExpert Forums would be the place to find my answer.
Anyways here goes...
I am currently using a 0% Purchases/BT NatWest Credit Card. I received my first statement and it said min payment £5.00 to reach my account by the 12th July say. I paid the min payment - all done.
Now I get paid around the 18th every month so I decided to pay a little extra off my C/C - so I paid off £75, then about a week later I received my second statement (the £75 I paid off recently not yet appearing on this statement), the min payment again being £5.00 which is fair enough.
Now my question is: I just paid off £75 does that mean I've covered the min payment for the second statement?
I'm just not sure that's all and I dont want a £30 fine for missing payments. Paying the min payment is no problems, just wanted to know if I've already covered it.
Many thanks in advance,
Alyn.

If its not showing on your most recent statement, then it will count as your next minimum payment, but it might be worth double checking to make sure they have recieved it, just to be 100%:)Henry James Born 18/03/2011-11 days late!:)

On any credit card it's always a good idea to set up a direct debit for the minimum payment, and then any payments over and above that you can do manually. If you ever forget and miss the minimum payment then you can lose the 0% deal.DFW Nerd 0350
