    Welcome to MSE Helen,

If you are only claiming IB, moving in with your partner will not have any impact on your entitlement. Is your partner receiving Working Tax Credits, or any housing/ council tax benefits? If so, you will need to change these to a joint claim.
    Gone ... or have I?

As dmg says your IB will not be affected, even if it was you have told them of the change. If you are worried you could always put it in writing and then you are fully covered.

  • You won't get into trouble as it does not affect your Benefit.
