I wrote to the Royal Bank Of Scotland last year and was accepted under financial hardship.
I then received a letter in Jan 2010 stating that my account had been running a bit better and they were passing control back to my own branch but "as a gesture of goodwill had re-paid my charges", this is now April and I still have had no charges re-paid, which amounted to @ £2500, and despite contacting the branch, head office, e-mailing and writing to them I am being blanked.
I don't know what to do next, we really need that money back to help us out of hell .!

Do you still have the letter promising a full refund?
I would say that you should approach the FOS.0
