Since I downloaded the last Adobe update, whenever I switch my computer on the connect to internet window appears automatically - it never used to before - and it seems to have the Adobe sign at the top.
Does anyone else get this? I don't see why Adobe should be anything to do with connecting to the internet.
Thanks

From memory, the update installs and enables a process that automatically connects to the internet to check for future Adobe updates.
I'm fairly sure that you can disable it in the Preferences section of Acrobat Reader - can't be more specific than that as I don't use Acrobat myself.0 -
Hi
It's Edit-Preferences-Updater-Check for Updates-Do not automatically download or install updates.
It can be irritating especially every time Abode Reader or Acrobat is opened, it checks for updates.
I usually get my updates from the Adobe website.
