For someone from the North the price doesn't look too bad for a flat in a castle! I'd love it, but on Income Support I couldn't afford a mortgage even if I could get one.
Does anyone know how to tell how much room there is left on a USB memory stick thingy?Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

I don't watch Dr. Who but I loved the Demon Headmaster books and series when I was a kid!
Gorgeous cottage. I'd love this flat:

But not much chance of affording it. I tried to work out how many books I'd have to sell to afford it, it aint gonna happen!
OMG that flat is gorgeous - I could sell all my kids and move there!!!0 -

@ Beanie, get well soon
Does anyone know how to tell how much room there is left on a USB memory stick thingy?
Stick in in your computer. Go to 'my computer' and it should be added on that screen. Right click and chose properties, you should get a pie diagram just like you do with your normal hard drive

he was snoozing on a quilt on the sofabed behind me Beanie, bless him

Quickly did the ironing before 1 can of cider became 2. Not sure why but I feel pished and I've still got part of the second can to go!
OH flew in, got a shower, moaned because I wouldn't give him a lift about half a mile (I'd had 1 can and although under the limit I don't drink and drive - at all), flew out again.
To be honest, I could do with some company this evening. Proper company that is, not just another person in the same room from around 9pm until time for bed.

Cheers Pap, I got as far as my computer on my own but didn't have a clue after that! Loads of space left, which is good (although means my 'book' is nowhere near long enough to be called that!).
