I take it you are the SKATTY person I think you are? from oop north, like?
  • I had mine out 6yrs ago ,and iv'e gained loads of weight it doesn't matter what i try it just wont shift either .
It's funny but my physical shape changed as well i seem to carry all my weight on my tummy I look permenantly pregnant .

Same here, all my weight is on my tummy & I look totally out of shape. For what I eat, I don't deserve to be this size it's very depressing. They don't tell you this when you have the gallbladder removed.

Ooops soweh ,seem to have taken over thread :(

Well I have decided not to go ahead with my gall bladder surgery atleast until I get the (hopefully) all clear for the other problem .Just hope my surgeon will understand and not take me off the list completely:(
I wondered if the weight gain could be due to suddenly being able to eat things you couldnt before ?
I have noticed my diet is uber low fat due to the gall bladder prob :(

My diet pre op was incredibly low fat, for a good 6 months before op at least. post op the first thing the hosp gave me to eat was a cheese sandwich! yikes!
I just started to pile the pounds on after, and it just won't shift.
