Calling Uk from a mobile whilst in Egypt

Can anyone help me please. I am having an adult only break for a week in May but wish to phone my daughter on a regular basis as it will be the first time I have left her with family for so long . It is really expensive to call home from my mobile/and the hotel.....does anyone have any suggestions as to cheaper ways to call home so I can chat for longer...phone cards etc.
Any information would be appreciated.

I have bought an international sim card from www.gosim.com to take with me to Egypt soon - can't recall how much the calls are but definitely much cheaper than using my o2 sim.
ON tripadvisor it is often suggested that you buy a vodaphone sim once you land in Egypt so thats another possibilty for you.0
