As good as CCCS maybe, they should ONLY be used for one reason ONLY to pay one's existing creditors, and NOTHING morebluemonday3 wrote: »I maybe naively thought that CCCS would help me with the best option for me
Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.
All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional0 -
now i'm confused....?0

If CCCS are saying an IVA is for you, DON'T take their word for it, research, research, research prior to making a decision.bluemonday3 wrote: »now i'm confused....?Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

I have not heard anything yet re the IVA but today received county court papers re my large loan debt.
CCCS just told me what to put on the form and send this back.
Don't admit the debt defend your side.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

Just been reading your thread and whilst I can't offer any advice as such I would say that 10past6 is very knowledgable regarding CCJ's especially, from what I have seen on these forums in the past and will offer you sound advice. Good luck.I must stop procrastinating, I must stop procrastinating! promise I'll stop tomorrow OK:D

Thanks everyone, How do I defend something that I am very much liable for??0

Defend it on the grounds of what you can afford to pay. So they do not demand it in full.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

I have been advised to put on the form the amounts that I am currently paying to them on my DMP, do you mean that?0
-
That would be a good figure, add on that you are already paying them as part of the DMP. This shows to the court it is all you can afford and you have made those payments.
There was somewhere a defence about being on a DMP and that granted a CCJ would show preference although that might be more COs, than CCJs.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

Thanks, I have been told to put what I am paying now to them via the DMP on the form, but am really worried they will ask me to pay as it's a large debt and I don't have any more to spare.:(0
