It was just luck really - I got lots of quotes and eventually one company found a part-load job (the driver said he had 2 more off loads that day in the region from his 18 ton lorry) so they could offer £600. It all went smoothly despite tricky access at both ends, except that they didn't use mattress protectors that's about the only thing.
I was flexible on dates and that helped getting a part-load job.Debt: September 28th 2009 £0!!!!! Finally!
