Seeds indoors - how long must they stay covered?
I've sown tomato seeds in seed trays, and courgette, sweetcorn and sweet pea seeds into pots and they're indoors, toms and courgettes on north facing windowsill, sweetcorn and sweet peas on the floor inside a west facing patio door. The trays are covered in clingfilm and the tomatoes, sown 2 weeks ago, are now little seedlings about an inch high. The pots are all covered with plastic bags, the slightly opaque ones Mr Ts have for fruit and veg, they were sown last Monday and no seedlings are showing yet.
Should I leave the clingfilm on the trays of tomato seedlings or remove it now, and leave them to grow a bit, on the same windowsill, before moving them into 3" pots (and should I water them again now or not until they are transplanted)?
Thanks, it's my first attempt at doing seeds in the house.

I understand that once your seedlings have emerged you need to take off the clingfilm or plastic cover.0

Do not leave the covers on after the seeds have popped through and be careful not to give them to much heat as they will grow leggy flop over and die. :think:The solving of a problem lies in finding the solvers.0
