Advice For Selling Mobile Phone on Ebay
Comments

Actually I have made an assumption. The phone came with an O2 contract and I have been led to believe that all such phones are unlocked. Of course I will be keeping the sim when selling the phone but maybe I had better make sure that the phone is unlocked as it seems from the advice I have been given that having a sealed box makes no difference and I can check whether the mobile is a worker.soolin wrote:Be careful on your description. You say it is sim free, do you mean by that that it is unlocked and can be used by any network or that it is without a sim. If it is fully unlocked to any network then it is worth more than a phone that is locked.

Yep, that's the best way to sell a new phone. Put a BIN of what you want for it, having looked at what others are getting for the same model. Then have it immediate payment by paypal and you should be fine. Watch out for zero feedback buyers and/or unconfirmed paypal addresses from low feedback buyers. Also this will stop competitor auction wreckers who bid with newly registered ebay accounts to take competitor products off of the market, to help sell their phones.
Secondhand/older phones can be set to auction with other payment options because the scammers don't tend to bother with these due to resale value and also competitors don't bother with these auctions either.0 -
I have bought and sold over 600 items using Paypal since its inception, about 5 years ago. Never had a single problem with them.0
