Please help MSE test new tool: Cardsgone.com (for lost and stolen cards)

Hi folks,
We've been working on a new tool for the site, which helps people find the lost and stolen phone numbers for credit, debit and other cards, and if you've got 5 spare minutes to test it that would be great.
The problem as we saw it is that - among the other stress and hassle - having to remember what was in your bag, purse or wallet can be difficult, so we have designed this tool to help people without storing any information at all.
I won't say too much more as hopefully you should be able to figure out how it works (if not we've gone wrong somewhere!). Only couple of notes are that the text isn't finalised yet, and the phone numbers themselves are not yet up to date - we are doing that update right now in fact.
Here's the link:

BRILLIANT! One suggestion, will it have 'store cards', eg Debenhams - I'm guessing that's going to be the 3rd option. And what about prepayment cards for foreign currency, will they be there too?
Also will it do anything 'historic'? My 'main' visa card is now supplied by MBNA but used to be A&L, so if on the day I can't remember that it's an MBNA card will it give me the 'right' phone number for the 'new' provider? (I hope I'm making sense!)Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Hi
Works great and is a really handy tool. Email link work fine too. Im just wondering whether storecards could be added to the tool? I know they are the devils work but, used sensibly, they offer a number of benefits. Don't know if this is feasible.:o

Spot on!
Could code an RSS feed for this as it would be useful as mobile app?
Could you add the Sygma Bank stable of cards e.g. Flybe, Silver Card, JJB, World Card etc please?Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0 -
Looks good and currently matches against the numbers I have stored on my mobile - agree about the Store Cards bit though.2020 Mortgage-Free Wannabes #20 £1495.03/£2760 OP0

That tools throws up alot of non-geographic numbers.
AA Credit card for example is 0845 300 0344, but using SAYNOTO0870.COM you get 0131 549 8050.
I would add a recommendation to use http://saynoto0870.com/ to reduce costs for the calls before ringing.
Or if you have the time add in a colm for potentially cheaper numbers to ring, national/local/freephone. But i think a link to http://saynoto0870.com/ would be quickier to add.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
I agree with DarkConvict - if you're going to do this you might as well add the non-geographic numbers. In many cases you can just use the overseas number, and just replace the "0044" at the start with "0".0
