Laser Eye Surgery

Hi I was wondering if someone who has had it done could give me some advice!
Today I visited Optical Express for a free consultation. They said my eyes were suitable and said for Wavefront Intralse it would cost £2,890:eek: Wavefront Mechanical costs £2,290. The websites says from £400 per eye, but I was thinking it be around £2,000 ish.
My understanding is that Optical Express are the leading brand in surgery and have the best equip. However does the type of machine used actually make much difference? Is the quality good for all treatments?
Which other places would you suggest trying?
I've read somewhere that if you wait a few months, they offer deals. Is this true? Can you haggle?
Whats your advice on moneysaving tips with having eye surgery?
Many thanks for replying:)

there's a reason most ophthalmic surgeons still wear glasses... Neither my ex-landlord or friend who are both ophthalmic surgeons recommend it. Try speaking to someone who is in the business but isn't trying to sell you something.0

Do you know why not?0 -
I went to Optimax and got mine done for £1995 top rate. They did a 2 year 0% finance deal so works out about £87 a month. Go on their website: https://www.optimax.co.uk0
