Can someone tell me who is playing old Bobby at the moment at the Playhouse London?

My daughters went with their mother yesterday and know him from tv but didn't get a programme.

    Anna,

I know it wasn't David Cardy.

The actor has been in a few programmes on tv according to my daughters, just they can't remember which ones (quite an 'english' actor)

    thanks for answering

i enjoyed it, but saw it on the initial tour, before it transfered to london, i am also seeing it again on the current tour (as they have also started another touring cast whilst show is still in london) the music and cast we saw (of whom most are in london now) were really good, the cast sound track is on i tunes and amazon etc if you want to listen to samples of the tracks etc

  • My wife and I went to see it at the Playhouse on Friday (9 April). The person who played old Bobby is Roger Martin. According to his bio in the programme he has been in Terry and June as Alan the nephew, Dr Julian Holmes in Trail and Retribution, Sir Peter Tufton in Judge John Deed, and as the Environmental Health Officer who nearly closed down the Queen Vic in Eastenders. He has also been in other plays and TV shows but these are the main ones.
