Laptop Battery

Hi

I need a new laptop battery - I've been looking around and can find the same model no and voltage but they all seem to have a different number for the mAh, sorry if this seems a bit dumb but does that have to be the same as the one I'm replacing?

Also can anyone recommend where to get one from, like I say been looking around but I don't really know much about these things.

The mAh is just a capacity rating, so if the new value is bigger than your one it's good; if smaller, it's bad, because it won't last as long as yours did when new.

Unless someone makes a habit of buying large numbers of laptop batteries for many different laptop models and from a vast range of suppliers, you aren't going to get a good answer to "where should I buy one from?"...!
