Duel Fuel
Some while back I remmember reading a post advising against having both gas and electricity from the same supplier.
Does anyone remember or know anything about it ?
Best regards

Sometimes it's cheaper and sometimes it isn't. Do a search for them combined and then separately to see what's best for you.0

Also check to see if you would receive an annual rebate payment form the supplier for taking a dual fuel deal. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

...but check that it's not factored in to the calculation done by the comparison site - the Energyhelpline often do this and you wouldn't want to count it twice.espresso wrote:Also check to see if you would receive an annual rebate payment form the supplier for taking a dual fuel deal.0 -
Many thanks for all your helpful replies but I distinctly remember someone (don't think it was Martin) suggesting that it is unwise to have both these utilities from the same supplier - irrespective of the cost advantages.
Something to do with potential problems later on, when/if you again need to change the supplier ?.
I believe this was also mentioned in the media.
PS:
Apologies for the atrocious spelling in the original post although 'duel' might have been clever if it wasn't unintentional.Best regards
