X box freezing often---help

Shortly after I put a disc in, it starts to load then freezes. Any help would be great. Many thanks, Liz

Lots of reasons for this to happen:
does it happen with another disk?
does the disk that causes it to freeze have scratched / dirt on it?
does the laser head need cleaning?
If your disk is dirty / scratched go to blockbuster / gamestation or similar and get cleaned for about £2.0
