Gas Oven Connection Fittings

Hi,
I'm in the market for a new standalone gas oven. My old oven is connected to the supply standpipe entering my kitchen via a rubber hose. The hose is secured to the oven by a fixed screwed connector, the other end being attached to the supply pipe via an easily removable bayonet fitting.
My questions are:
(a) Is this kind of fitting arrangement still standard for standalone gas ovens?
(b) In the experience of people who have bought an oven in recent years, was the hose connector supplied as standard with the oven?
Thanks for any help with this.
Joe

You do not get a hose with a new cooker/oven.
The bayonet fixing is the standard connection for gas cookers.
It should, however, be fitted to a wallplate that is screwed to the wall and the bayonet should point downwards.
Can't see any reason the old hose can't be used once tested.0 -
Thanks for your quick reply.
