Setting up AA Savings A/C

For anyone who has set up an AA savings account - how long did it take?

I set one up on line and got a letter from them on the 23rd March, with DD details. It said I would receive another letter from them with details for sending a cheque but nothing.

I rang last week for another one and still have nothing.

Am getting really frustrated now as I have my savings sitting in a current account, waiting to go. Tempted to go with another one, if they cant get this right.

Received letter with in about 3 days.
Cheque seems to be taking a long time to clear.

Mine took 2 weeks from opening to depositing funds. My letter took about a week to come. As nednats said my cheque took a while to clear as well. Not sure why.

Bear with it Dillence, will be worth it in the end as its one of the best rates. Once it's up and running, very easy and efficient to use.
