Changing Solicitors in Scotland when selling-Costs?

We're thinking of changing Solicitors as the one we have has made repeated mistakes and we just feel that they aren't earning their fee as it were...
Anyway we were just wondering what costs other people have incurred. We have already paid £250 to get it on the Solicitor's property Centre, presumably we would have to pay this cost again?
and I assume we would have another batch of costs for new photographs etc?

Yes, your new solicitor will probably take another £200 or so for putting it on your local SPC under their name, and bill you for 'their' schedules, boards etc.
Your current sol may also charge you a cancellation fee, but without looking at their contract or terms of engagement, we can't tell.
Depending on where you live, you may want to consider agents outwith the SPCs....0 -

Thought so so we need to come up with another £250. Our contract has a No Sale, No fee policy all they ask is you give them 8 weeks and it's 8 weeks beginning of next week.
We've moved away, had to for health reasons as being a studio flat and my health being pants the two weren't working out but our old flat is in Aberdeen can you suggest any of these other agents? I thought everyone used SPC's now so would one of these agents make it even harder to sell?0
