payment break plan???

hi all,

just trying to sort out finances on credit cards etc and in the middle of claiming some of my ppi 's. on a couple of my credit card statements i have no ppi but am being charged " payment break plan" and " repayment cover". can anybody tell me whether these are the same as ppi and that i can claim these back at all. many thanks

I have found "payment break plan" on Monument Credit Card statements, they have written to me to say this is NOT PPI, and as a gesture of goodwill, will refund half of what I paid. This letter has only come in the post today so I feel I need to investigate further before accepting the offer.

Please dont accept the offer. Payment Break Plan is still and insurance policy, which you probably did noty need.

Write back to Monument and advise them once again why you believe the payment break plan has been miss sold and you will probably see that they will give you all premiums back plus all interest.
