Slow Cooker Recipes - HELP PLEASE

Hi All,

Really after some help here please.

I have a slow cooker and am eventually going to dust it off and start using it. Ever increasing grocery bill that must be reduced.

I have been a lurker on the boards for a couple of years, but it is now time to take action. I am sure that during that time I have seen a thread on Slow Cooker recipes. Would anyone have the link?

If not would you please mind posting some recipes that I could use?

Hi kathryn,

Most recipes can be easily adapted to the slow cooker, but it's important to use less liquid than you normally would as the liquid doesn't evaporate in the same way as it would if cooking on the hob or in the oven.

There is also the slow cooker quick questions thread which has lots of advice on using slow cookers.

If you are looking for a particular recipe and don't want to wade through the whole thread, just go to the thread then click 'Search this thread' (towards the top in the green bar) and enter the recipe you are looking for eg chilli, it will bring up all the chilli recipes in the thread.

I'll add your thread to the recipe collection later to keep the recipes together.
