HI
Ok I was going to move however thats not happening now.
So going to redo bathroom so would you rather have a bathroom or bathrooom with a bath and basin with a separate wc.
Bearing in mind I have no other toliets in the house.
Thanks:beer:

in the house we have just bought we have a separate wc and the bathroom has bath, basin and shower. I hate it and when Ive got the cash together to knock the wc into the bathroom to make it one larger room then its happening! We do have a downstairs cloakroom and an ensuite from the master bedroom in the attic though, so a nice big all encompassing bathroom on the first floor would be nice.0

My preference is to have one room with wc in with bath/basin etc.Herman - MP for all!0

If you only have the one toilet, there may be an argument for keeping it separate from the bath - it means people can still spend a penny whilst somebody is hogging the bathroom for a long leisurely bath. But I wonder about the hygiene aspect - you'd have to come out of the toilet room and go into the bathroom (two door handles) before washing your hands?:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

You've got to have a washbasin in the WC room - and an extractor fan if it has no window.
Possibly another washbasin in the bath room too, and possibly another extractor fan, depending on whether or not you fit a shower, and what window provision there is here, too.
Building regulations and building control may have some input to the decision on extractor fans. Try asking at www.diynot.co.uk and see what advice you can get there?0 -
Unfortunately thinking about it I dont think I can put the bathroom and wc into one room, The bathroom and wc are not parallel to each other they are like L-shaped so to knock into one might look stupid
Yeah I just put a new thread on here about this for hygiene reasons its a toliet with integrated basin

Personally I'd prefer separate.
But I don't like that combined cistern/basin: "Cold water only to basin" No thanks, I want to wash my hands in warm water and soap, and not have scummy soapy water gumming up the cistern mechanism.
You can get really slimline recessed-into-the-wall basins for cloakrooms if space is tight.

Hi, yes gonna keep it separate and leave this gel in the toliet for emergencies

cost a lot less compared to getting in a new toliet0
