    Blimey Beanie, that's not good.

For all I complain about my rubbish love-life, at least I haven't had any of that sort of problem.

I don't meet anyone without getting to know them a bit first though, and only ever date in very public places until I am sure they don't carry an axe. The one time I felt VERY uncomfortable, I left abruptly when he went to the loo and ran away! :o

Assualted Beanie? Bloody hell :( there are some right shitheads out there, aren't there? Men and women, of course (don't want the nice gents of DFW to be offended...)

I know it's easy to be a bit 'grass is greener' but the idea of sleeping like a starfish and never washing men's pants is sooooooooooooooo appealing. Oh, except Elliot will be a teenager all too soon and teenager boy pants are probably in a whole different category of their own, so careful what I wish for...

Pepe - Congrats on your new grandson - Noah is a fab name! :T

DD - Congrats to you too - we've all been broody over kittens lately so now we can get broody over you! :j

I'm soooooo glad I'm not having to do the dating thing, it sounds horrific. I was obviously just due a bit of luck the day I met DH, pity the lucks run a bit dry since eh?

Just made a scrummy dinner of roasted new potatoes, steamed broccoli and chicken in a white winey, creamy pepper corn sauce.....twas to die for and I'll never be able to recreate it as it was one of those...add a bit of this....a dollop of that and a splash of the other!

Funny you should say about the grass being greener Daphne, because I often think that. I would love to have a boyfriend again but then I am not sure I would want the hassle of it all either.

My ex bf came round today for a cuppa and during the conversation I did manage to tell him I was pleased we had split up because we really weren't right for each other and I had known that for sometime but didn't have the guts to do anything about it - he looked a bit crestfallen, which I though was a bit ironic as it was him that finished with me!
