Congrats Daphne! I missed it too, have you known for long?
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

    Thanks for the congrats :)

I won't bore everyone with the finer detail, am getting used to the idea of the baby (was a surprise, thanks mini-pill!) and am on the 'pleased' side now but it's just the circs, relationship, just about got my head around the idea of a separation and now having to rethink, it boils down to both me and OH not having a clue about what is best really, no wrong-doings on either side just...life I guess.

Can I join the no self-esteem bench?

I struggle with self-identity allllll the time and then feel guilty for even giving it thought, I think of my grandmothers (sadly both long dead, never really got to know them) and just how hard their lives were and think, for goodness' sake pull yourself together! But ain't that easy, is it. <stares at naval>

Ames I found out when I was already 8 weeks, am now almost 14, but couldn't believe it until the scan last week. Of course I did everything in those 8 weeks that you're not supposed to! Elliot will be 3 on 24/10, my due date is 10/10. Eek!

Ames, don't be daft you're an attractive woman.

However, online dating has been pretty rubbish for me. I get messages from:

    - 21 year olds

    - 45 year olds who type lyk 21 yr olds cos it's kewl... :wall:

    - Interesting, articulate, mid-30s males who sound great, but then you look at the photo and think 'Omg!! Seriously, I'm not shallow but did you hit EVERY branch??'.

    - Interesting, articulate, mid-30s males who seem really lovely at first but turn into freaks after the first date (Saturday was a prime example - he was confused about whether he wanted to see me again or not because he 'felt too much lust' when he kissed me goodnight....:o so he ignored me until I ended his confusion by telling him where to go....bloody weirdo).

    - Not to mention the spammers...people trying to sell me prescription drugs and penis extensions (Am offended! I didn't think I had a problem in that area... :rotfl:), people offering me parts in adult films, or wanting to meet me at a hotel for the night and pay me 'expenses', or offering me various amounts of money for a 'massage'...

It is no wonder I am single!
