Smelly Xbox wireless controller!

This may be a strange question but here goes - does anyone else have problems with a horrible smell coming off their xbox handset? After my son has been playing on his xbox with his wireless controller for a while there is a horrible smell which really stinks out his bedroom. I have to open up his window to get rid of it. Could it be the sweat on his hands affecting the handset? It definately is the handset and not my son who is smelling bad although the amount of jumping about he does playing his games I do wonder!!!

Maybe I could use a hygenic hand wipe to sort the smell out but not sure.

urm, you shouldn't be able to smell it at all unless you put it right agaisnt your nose. none of mine do.

You should return it asap especially if its an electrical burning smell as the fumes are quite toxic.
