We love walking so the sunflower book sounds good as does the Pico do Arieiro.
That's a bit between the two so is nice and close to town. Make sure you go to the Sunflower books website to download and print the updates (very regular) before you go so you don't try a closed walk.
Wish we were going again.....I think you'll probably also be going during the Atlantic festival so you should see some fantastic fireworks.0
