Yep, I've had Gothia for my First Plus loan (part of Barclays now) and they hassled me for a while and got bored and passed the debt back to Barclays.

Only owe them a few hundred quid, anyone would think I owed millions the amount of hassle they gave. Guess it cost them more in phone calls though!

  • I know what you mean about confusion but the info is in the public domain should it need to be accessed so I guess thats sufficient.

These banking groups are massive ....Usually there is group membership disclosure within the letter heading or in the lower detail info in all correspondance though.

Gosh looking down that list....eeeek will give me nightmares later:eek::eek:

Thats sort of my beef here, its no good in the public domain unless you can get the FULL picture, so am i missing another public domain source that ties them all together?

3Dogs missed that one, but further makes my point

fermi, oh great, that fills me with a warm fuzzy feeling inside......oh no thts the cider i have had............sorry.....The Credit Services Association dont learn from there mistakes do they, another PR disaster in the makeing:p:rotfl:

Looks like Gothia aren't owned outright by Barclays or anything like that.

But perhaps there is a partnership/commercial agreement between the two that allows Gothia to use Barclays name? Would explain why it appears on their license, but not the other way round?

    Oh and another thing...

Am an on a roll now...

Red Castle collections are Gothia, in case anyone receives any mail from RC. Their headed paper reads as RC but the footer reads as Gothia and a Worthing address with the Gothia logo.

I'll go now...for the time being!

Considering that Resolution legal services (a trading ‘style’ of Gothia, and not as it sounds, a company with any legal experience or expertese as such, let alone a firm of solicitors as some may be forgiven for thinking) have just threatened my OH with legal action, and I stress they state they will/may take legal action, not there client, Carlisle finance, which is the important bit as the supposed debt has not been assigned to gothia…………………..it does not bode well does it fermi
