Hi All,
Hoping someone on here could let me know the cheapest place - Internet or High Street where I could buy a double bed. I have had a bad experience with Argos before so I'm trying to avoid getting one from them....I'm also particularly interested in places that could deliver in less than 14 days.
Your help is much appreciated.
Have a great day.

Dreams and Bensons for beds usually have sales or special offers on and I think they will probably deliver.
I've only had a bed delivered from Argos but am getting a new one from Ikea soon - they often have good prices BUT I don't think you can order online or by phone, although you can look at the selection online.

The thing about Ikea beds is that they are a completely different size to English beds so you will not be able to use your pre-existing fitted sheets, and existing mattress, and you may find that your duvets are also the wrong size and look odd. This means that you have to buy all your bedding from Ikea (fine if you love their patterns and live quite close I suppose) or make your own. This was enough to put me off buying from them even though the style of their beds is lovely.0

Try your local Oxfam. A lot of the larger ones have furniture and you may be able to haggle the price as well.Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest. -Mark Twain

I have been told by my local IKEA they only do their standard bed sizes and they don't fit UK mattresses. Thats the only reason i didn't get one, as if i wanted to replace the mattress i couldn't.0
