People probably know my reservations re fruit trees in supermarkets and budget stores, particularly when they are in full bloom in March (Lidl).

Went into Wilkos yesterday and was well impressed. Good sized apple and plum trees - 5-6 foot feathered maidens with the leader intact. Buds still dormant but plainly live wood. Bit concerned re the amount of root but, take a look before you buy.

Jonagold, Bramley, Belle de Boskoop, Elstar and a few others. A single remaining Czar plum was not worth the purchase but there might have been others already purchased that were better.

If you want to grow cordons or pyramid forms, these are a good price.
