Packaged lovely but wondered what it was myself when I saw it:rotfl:

(32 winners so maybe other MSE'rs may be lucky :rotfl::rotfl:but not so lucky for the slugs)

..............With spring nearly here, it won't be long before slugs and snails start making a reappearance on your veg patch. Pellets can help you get rid of the pests, but may also be eaten by wildlife or domestic pets if they’re left exposed on the soil. It is a fact that rainwater, mist or damp conditions will dissolve the pellets, rendering them useless and washing the chemicals they contain into the soil (these then find their way into our underground water table). If you don't want to change your method of controlling the slimy critters, a Slug Bell could be exactly what you need. Its wire mesh basket keeps pellets above the ground but within reach of the pests, while the colourful bell-shape top shelters the contents from rain. The waterproof gadget is made of metal and can be used for years, and the attractively decorated 'bells' will add a splash of colour to your plot – they are supplied in a range of flower designs.
