Our daughter is starting a foundation course at Manchester in September (Art and Ceramics)
She is not getting any assistance financially except from us.
Is there any funding available so she can possibly get a room in Manchester and be partly self sufficient ?
We live in the middle of the Peak District which is not far from Manchester but public transport means she would have about 2 hrs each way travelling every day.

I did a foundation course in art and design about 5 years ago. There was no help available at the time. She could get reduced travel through the uni & maybe apply for a hardship loan. I worked part time to fund my course. Contact the uni/college and they will offer some advice.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
