friend moved house 2 days ago but no gas till 26th april

If there is a gas supply to the property (i.e. only needs meter fitting) then I believe the maximum lead time for British Gas and most other suppliers on any gas meter job is 6 workings days (1 week). Probably, but as you haven't told us why she doesn't have gas, we have even less clue than you do about what she might do or say.As title, she's got bairns as well ... surely something she can do or say to get them to put the gas on sooner than 26th AprilHi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
