Morning all hope your all well.
Just after a bit of guidance really. I have received a letter from NatWest accepting my case for hardship this was about a week ago then yesterday I received an offer from NatWest for the last 6 months worth of charges even tho my account has been closed for 4 months . When I started the claim I sent them the charges from back in 2003 onwards. Could you please advise on my best course of action.
Many Thanks
Dan

Is the account closed or was it closed with a negative balance?
How much have they agreed to and what method of payment?0 -
i thanks for your reply i think with a negitive balance of about £200 they have offered £412 but when i worked out for the last 6 years it was about £5200. They never stated a method of payment but i would try to request a cheque
Many Thanks

Dan, you have to find out precisely what is owing and the method of payment will be to the account and any excess sent to you. They will refuse to issue a cheque in all probability.0
